Grad Night is an event celebrating the Class of 2020 Graduates.
Lots of excitement has been developing over this year’s upcoming Grad Night evening. Wondering what the "buzz" is all about?
Grad Night is an exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime, all-night event designed to provide a fun and safe environment for newly graduated Seniors. This is the perfect chance to celebrate one last night together with friends and classmates before moving on to the next chapter in their lives.
Unfortunately, statistics show that Graduation Night is one of the highest risk nights for teens to be involved in negative activities such as Drinking and Driving. Peer-pressure is also a factor found to be extremely intense on this night. Therefore, the Grad Night concept initially came about through the hard work and effort of a small group of parents concerned about the safety and well-being of their children on this special night. Now, safe graduation celebrations such as Grad Night, have become a tradition for graduating Seniors throughout the United States. Not only do they provide a safe and sober environment, they are also spectacularly fun.
Grad Night is 1 more time to be with friends, 1 last chance to have a fun evening together, 1 last moment to be a student, a San Juan Hills Stallion, 1 more opportunity to make lifelong memories, to make future plans, to reminisce and to “remember when”, to take photos together, to say, “So long until I see you again” ~ and 1 more chance to have fun and just be a "kid".
WHAT CAN THE GRADUATES BRING TO GRAD NIGHT?
Disney California Adventure is a large amusement park with rides and rollercoasters. Graduates should wear comfortable clothes and shoes. SJHHS School Dress Code will be enforced. Bring a sweatshirt or jacket and a small backpack to hold personal belongings. Food and drinks will be available for purchase in the park.
WHAT ABOUT STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES OR SPECIAL NEEDS?
We want all Seniors to join in the celebration, so please contact us, and we will do our very best to accommodate. There will be a licensed EMT present during the Grad Night event.
